When: Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2009

Place: The Lowell Elks, 40 Old Ferry Road , Lowell, MA

Chip Race Timing: The race will be timed with Bib Chips supplied by Yankee Timing. Each entrant will be assigned a computer chip to be attached to their shoe which will determine start and finish time.

Cost:

• 5K $20 pre; $25 post
• 10K $20 pre $25 post

Course: A flat fast 10K and 5K course that begins and ends at the Lowell Elks.

Awards for 5K and 10K: $100 prize to the first male and female finisher overall and $25 for top boy and girl finishers in the 12 and under group. Special prize to the walker who raises the most pledge dollars!

Your extra pledge dollars buys:

• $3.00 laundry detergent band-aids; cereal, bread, milk
• $10.00  Diapers
• $20.00 Twin sheets and pillow; shoes
• $75.00 Night in emergency safehome for woman and child(ren)

Amenities: Heated indoor facilities and DJ

T-Shirts: Long sleeve t-shirts will be given to the first 500 registrants.

Pies: Pies to all runners and walkers the day of the race!
